‘Tropical Bean Dream’
I know what you are thinking, “Beans in a smoothie!?”, but trust me on this one, or better still try it out for yourself! This deliciously creamy breakfast will provide you with all the energy you need in one delicious drink that will leave you feeling pleasantly satisfied.
- 1 ½ cups of mango, fresh or frozen
- ⅔ cups rinsed white beans (canned are quick and easy!)
- ⅓ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened is best)
- 1 ¼ cups rice milk
- 10 small mint leaves
- Ice as needed
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth, using as much or as little ice as per your preference. Garnish with a mint leaf, or simply enjoy as it is!
This delicious smoothie is chock full of goodness to keep you feeling full up to your next meal.
- 1 medium banana
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup plain yogurt (low-fat works well)
- ½ cup light milk
- 2 tsp honey
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth, adding ice according to preference and then relax and enjoy!
We all know green is generally a healthy color when it comes to smoothies, but this ones has the flavour to back it up! Enjoy this heavenly wholesome smoothie that is packed full of nutrients and has a deliciously smooth texture
- 1 cup sliced cucumber
- 1 cup baby spinach1 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
- ½ an avocado
- ½ cup low-fat frozen yogurt (Vanilla is nice)
- ½ cup orange juice
- 10 mint leaves
Combine all ingredients together in a blender until smooth, poor into your favorite smoothie glass and enjoy.
‘Tangy Banana Bliss’
A perfect combination between tangy and sweet, this breakfast smoothie is creamy, satisfying and rich in vitamin C. A fantastic immune boost to kick start your day with.
- I large ripe banana
- 6 strawberries (frozen is fine)
- 1 cup low fat plain yogurt
- ½ cup orange juice
- A few cubes of ice
Combine all ingredients together until the texture is smooth
‘Tofu & Berry Paradise’
This deliciously creamy smoothie will fill you up and give you the protein punch you need to keep you going all morning long.
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup mixed berries of your choice (frozen is fine)
- 1 packet of silken tofu
- ½ cup white grape juice
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Blend ingredients together until smooth and then enjoy from your cup of choice!
